VTA 145 - *Assistant Clinical Practicum

This course provides practical experience in veterinary clinics and/or related facilities. Students will begin to apply skills developed in the classroom at assigned off-campus facilities. The student will be involved in all aspects of animal care within the facility.

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall
Prerequisites: VTA 140 with a grade of C or higher
Contact Hours: Average of 90 clinical hours per semester

Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
