HUM 100SL - Humanities Service-Learning Practicum This course provides opportunities to participate in project-based, hands-on partnership with community organizations. Students gain experience in leadership and teamwork while meeting community needs. Writing/oral-intensive, the course promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, civic engagement, communication, and cultural awareness. Students engage in systematic reflection and apply interdisciplinary knowledge in real world experiences.
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall Contact Hours: 45-135 practicum hours per semester
Repeated: May be repeated for credit, but only 3 hours of SSE 100SL, STEM 100SL, or HUM100SL may apply toward graduation. Division: Humanities Department: Humanities
