PTAT 2492 - *Integrated Clinical Education

Integrated clinical education experiences consist of the student’s supervised clinical practice of previously learned PTA duties and functions in a physical therapy practice setting under the direction of a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. Students are required to achieve the program’s clinical performance expectations by the end of the clinical education experience.

Prerequisites: PTAT 2100, PTAT 2210, PTAT 2460, and PTAT 2530
Corequisites: PTAT 2220 , PTAT 2440, PTAT 2510
Contact Hours: 200 clinical hours per semester

Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
