OPHT 2350 - *Ophthalmic Procedures I In this course, the basic principles and skills for ophthalmic procedures will be taught. These include visual acuity measurement, lens measurements, tonometry, charting, medical history documentation, use of slit lamp, pupillary exam.
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall Prerequisites: Formal admission to the Ophthalmic Technician Program Corequisites: OPHT 2202, OPHT 2223, OPHT 2312 , OPHT 2310 Contact Hours: 30 lecture hours, 30 lab hours per semester
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution.
