MATH 1410 - ^Number Concepts for Teachers This is a course required exclusively of students majoring in elementary education. Topics include sequences, sets, relations and functions; base-ten arithmetic, numeration systems and whole numbers; bases other than ten; operations with the integers; equations and inequalities; theory of numbers; operations with decimals and rational numbers. (Same as TN eCampus MATH 1410)
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall (VSCC), Spring (VSCC), Summer (TN eCampus only) Prerequisites: ACT Math subscore of 19 or equivalent, or completion of MATH 1005 with a grade of C or higher. Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
