MATH 1130 - ^College Algebra


This course is designed for non-science majors, this course includes a study of sets, linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, exponents and radicals, functions and graphs, variation, complex numbers, and exponential and logarithmic functions. Credit toward graduation cannot be received for both courses in any of the following pairs: MATH 1130/1710, MATH 1130/1730.(Same as TN eCampus MATH 1130)

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring, Summer
Prerequisites: ACT Math subscore of 19 or equivalent or completion of MATH 1005  with a C or higher. Note: This course will not substitute for MATH 1710 .
Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester

General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
