FIRE 2320 - *Building Construction for Fire Protection This course provides the components of building construction related to firefighter and life safety. The focus of this course is on firefighter and life safety. The elements of construction and design of structures are shown to be key factors when inspecting building, preplanning fire operations, and operating at emergencies.
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall Prerequisites: Completion of Principles of Emergency Services (FIRE 1310 ) or instructor approval. Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
Repeated: May be repeated for a maximum of six semester hours for credit. Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution.
