FYEX 1040 - First Year Experience II

This course includes strategies for career readiness and success. Career exploration, resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, and soft skills are emphasized.

Degree-seeking students admitted or re-admitted to Vol State Fall 2020 or later are required to successfully complete FYEX 1030 and 1040 if it is noted as a requirement for their program of study in the Catalog. Students, who at the time of admission or re-admission, that have earned 15 college-level credit hours with a 3.0 or higher inclusive GPA or have earned 30 college-level credit hours are exempt from this degree requirement.
