MUS 1030 - ^Introduction to Music This is a general education course designed to meet the humanities/fine arts requirement. This course provides an introduction to musical aesthetics, the elements of music, musical form, and brief surveys of music in Non-Western cultures, American popular music and European classical music. (Same as TN eCampus MUSIC 1030)
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring, Summer Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0810 and READ 0810 as determined by placement. Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
