RESP 2305 - *Advanced Modalities in Respiratory Care This course is an in-depth study of the physiologic and technologic principles of non-invasive and invasive monitoring, pulmonary diagnostic lab testing, chest radiography, electrocardiogram recognition, nutrition, clinical laboratory studies, and hemodynamic and respiratory monitoring in the intensive care unit.
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Spring Prerequisites: RESP 2290 , RESP 2300 , RESP 2446 , RESP 2499 Corequisites: RESP 2299 , RESP 2480 , RESP 2456 Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
