RESP 2445 - *Advanced Concepts of Mechanical Ventilation

This course is a continuation of RESP 2440, Mechanical Ventilation, which further introduces the student to patient-ventilator graphics, patient-ventilator management, evidence-based protocols, and pharmacology.

Prerequisites: BIOL 2020, RESP 1410, RESP 1430, RESP 2440
Corequisites: RESP 1310, RESP 1399, RESP 1420
Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours/ 30 laboratory hours per semester
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
