VET 251 - *Clinical Practicum II This course provides practical experience in veterinary clinics and/or related facilities. Students will continue to apply skills developed in the classroom at assigned off-campus facilities. The student will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the facility. Students will discuss the clinical experience and hear from guest speakers in the classroom. Semester Availability: FALL ONLY - Semester Availability is subject to change. See your advisor.
Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall Prerequisites: VET 150 with a grade of C or higher Corequisites: VET 251C Contact Hours: Two lecture hour and an average of eight hours clinical experience per week. This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
