EMSP 1401 - *Paramedic Skills Lab I

Skills Lab I is a laboratory based course utilizing scenarios to emphasize airway management, medication administration, and successful assessment of patients with a variety of medical concerns and an introduction to cardiology. This course includes application of principles and processes discussed in Fundamentals I.

Prerequisites: Formal admission to the Paramedic program
Corequisites: EMSP 1801 and EMSP 1311
Contact Hours: 120 laboratory hours per semester
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
