VET 215 - *Small Animal Medical Nursing This course provides an overview of the diseases commonly encountered in veterinary practice. The course will stress nursing and diagnostic techniques utilized in the management of hospitalized patients, including education of clients. Diseases with a potential for zoonosis or creating health hazards for the local population will be emphasized. Semester Availability: FALL ONLY - Semester availability is subject to change. This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
