BIOL 2010 - ^Human Anatomy and Physiology I This is a course primarily designed for students in nursing, health sciences, and those interested in biological sciences. Cell structure and physiology tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, and nervous system are studied. Completion of BIOL 1010, BIOL 1030 or CHEM 1030 is recommended prior to enrolling in BIOL 2010. EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2011, THERE IS A FEE OF $10 FOR THIS COURSE AS APPROVED BY THE TENNESSEE BOARD OF REGENTS.
Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0810 and READ 0810 as determined by placement. Corequisites: BIOL 2010L Contact Hours: Three lecture hours per week Laboratory Hours: Two laboratory hours per week General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
