CRMJ 1360 - *Introduction to Crime Scene Investigation This course introduces forensic science and its applications in criminalistics. It is an overview of how the scientific process reflects the underlying philosophy concerning forensic science as a science and profession. Various methodologies pertaining to examination of crime scenes and collection of physical evidence are studied to show how scientific methods comprise the activities in criminalistics.

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
