VET 261 - *Clinical Practicum III


This course provides practical experience in veterinary clinics and/or related facilities. Students will continue to apply skills developed in the classroom at assigned off-campus facilities. The student will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the facility. Students will discuss the clinical experience and ethical considerations in the classroom. Semester Availability: SPRING ONLY - Semester Availability is subject to change.  See your advisor.

Semester Availabilty: (Subject to Change) Spring
Prerequisites: VET 150 and VET 251 (both with a grade of C or higher)
Corequisites: VET 261C

Contact Hours: Two lecture hours per week and an average of eight hours clinical experience per week.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
