DAST 1660 - *Clinical Practice To provide the student with the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom and laboratory settings to a functioning dental practice, as well as teach the student to work as a member of the team.
Semester Availabilty: (Subject to Change) Fall Prerequisites: Accpetance into the Dental Assisting Program. Contact Hours: 60 clinical hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
