PTAT 2493 - *Terminal Clinical Education I

Terminal clinical education experiences consist of the student’s supervised clinical practice of previously learned PTA duties and functions in a physical therapy practice setting under the direction of a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant. Students are required to achieve the program’s specific clinical performance expectations by the end of the clinical education experience. Prerequisites: PTAT 2220, PTAT 2440, PTAT 2510
Corequisites: PTAT 2280, PTAT 2494, PTAT 2520

Contact Hours: 200 clinical hours per semester
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
