EETH 1400 - *Digital Electronics This course is a study of concepts of Boolean Logic and their applications to designing and analyzing digital integrated circuits. Topics include binary and other number base systems and codes, logic circuits, A/D and D/A converters, counters, shift registers, adders, multiplexers, encoders, and various memory devices and their operation.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of all learning support competencies in reading, writing and mathematics. Corequisites: 1400L
Contact Hours: Two lecture hours per week Laboratory Hours: Two laboratory hours per week Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
