CITC 2373 - *Wireless Networks This course covers the fundamentals of wireless networks. Topics include 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n and 802.11a-c technologies, controller and controller-less technologies, mesh vs. non-mesh architectures spectrum analysis, wireless design, wireless installations, wireless conflicts and troubleshooting (cross channelization, shadowing, etc.), and wireless security. [This course was previously INFS 2630.]
Prerequisites: CITC 1326 with a C or higher Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
