MUS 2055 - Music Theory III

This course includes modulations, classical forms, mode mixture, augmented sixth chords, extended tertian chords and late 19th century tonality.

Semester Availability: SPRING ONLY - Semester Availability is subject to change.  See your advisor.

Prerequisites: MUS 1155  and MUS 1156  (both with a grade of C or higher) or satisfactory completion of theory placement exam.
Corequisites: MUS 2056  

Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
