CRMJ 1010 - Introduction to Criminal Justice

This course is a historical overview of the American Criminal Justice System emphasizing an understanding of the basic concepts of the legal, correctional and enforcement aspects of the justice system.  The course looks at career options and opportunities.  [This course was previously CJA 201.]   (Same as TN eCampus CJA 1100.)

Prerequisites: Completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing or ACT English and Reading subscore of 13 (or equivalent)
Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
