MECH 2600 - *Manufacturing Processes This course is a study of the overall manufacturing process. Topics covered will include process management and design. Students will be exposed to a factory simulation and will be required to complete a design project.
Prerequisites: MECH 1100 , MECH 1200 , MECH 1300 , MECH 1500 , MECH 2100 , MECH 2200 , MECH 2300 or permission of the department Corequisites: MECH 2400 , MECH 2500 , MECH 2600L
Contact Hours: Two lecture hours per week Laboratory Hours: Two laboratory hours per week Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
