PTA 270 - *Therapeutic Applications V This course includes a continuation of therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation techniques for patients with neurological dysfunctions and advanced theory of electrical modalities. Students will apply techniques and procedures to patients with burns, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and multi-handicapping conditions. The course includes special areas of practice.

Prerequisites: PTA 222 , PTA 263 , PTA 264 , and PTA 242C Contact Hours: 30 lecture and 60 laboratory hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs
This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
