PHYS 1030 - ♦Introductory Physics This is an introductory study of selected topics in physics including mechanics of linear and curvilinear motion, energy gravitation, vibrations and waves, sound electricity, magnetism and some atomic and nuclear physics. Note the preceding introductory discussion concerning course credits. (Same as TN eCampus PHYS 1030)
PREREQUISITES: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Writing and Reading Learning Support Competencies and an ACT MATH subscore of 19 (or equivalent) or completion of MATH 1005 , MATH 1130 , MATH 1710 (or higher with a grade of C or higher). COREQUISITES: PHYS 1030L Hours: Three lecture, two laboratory hours per week. General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements. Credits: (4)
