ECON 2020 - ♦Microeconomics


This course explores the role of markets in capitalistic economies in generating information and allocating resources, the theory of consumer choice, and production cost.  The course also includes the economics of the firm, an examination of government regulation of business, the operation of resource markets and the determination of income distribution, and international trade.  [This course was previously ECO 212.]   (Same as TN eCampus ECON 2020)

PREREQUISITES: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Writing and Reading Learning Support Competencies and completion of MATH 1005 , MATH 1010 , or MATH 1530 .
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
