BIOL 2010 - ♦Human Anatomy and Physiology I

This is a course primarily designed for students in nursing, health sciences, and those interested in biological sciences. Cell structure and physiology tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscular system, and nervous system are studied. Completion of BIOL 1010, BIOL 1030 or CHEM 1030 is recommended prior to enrolling in BIOL 2010. EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2011, THERE IS A FEE OF $10 FOR THIS COURSE AS APPROVED BY THE TENNESSEE BOARD OF REGENTS.

PREREQUISITES: An acceptable placement score or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing
COREQUISITES: BIOL 2010L
Hours: Three lecture, two laboratory hours per week.
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
