ACCT 1010 - Principles of Accounting I

This course covers basic principles and procedures of accounting in accordance with GAAP. Determination of net and income, valuation of assets and liabilities, introduction to internal control and accounting information systems are emphasized. [This course was previously ACT 201.] (Same as TN eCampus ACC 1104)

PREREQUISITES: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Writing and Reading Learning Support Competencies; Math ACT subscore of 13 or higher or successful completion of Basic Skills Math Course offered in Learning Commons.
