An introduction to elementary methods and techniques. Topics include sampling, frequency distributions, elementary probability, binomial distributions, normal distributions, and uniform distributions. Tests of hypotheses and significance of data and simple correlation. (Same as RODP MATH 1530)
PREREQUISITES: ACT Math subscore of 19 (or equivalent), completion of MATH 1005 or higher with a grade of C or higher, or concurrent registration in MATH 0153. General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements. Credits: (3)
