MATH 1010 - ♦Math for Liberal Arts

Intended for students whose program of study requires one 3-hour mathematics course. Designed to provide insight into the nature and applications of mathematics. Topics include but are not limited to the following: Critical Thinking, Set Theory, Logic, Consumer Mathematics and Finance, Counting Methods and Probability Theory, and Basic Statistics. (Same as RODP Math 1010)

PREREQUISITES: ACT Math subscore of 19 (or equivalent), completion of MATH 1005 or higher with a grade of C or higher, or concurrent registration in MATH 0101.

 
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
