ECON 2010 - ♦Macroeconomics


Introduces the economic dilemma, supply and demand, and the roles of major sectors within the economy. Explores the process of national income and output determination and the use of monetary and discretionary fiscal policies to control inflation and unemployment. Keynesian economics, the Monetarist School, and modern classical macroeconomics are examined and compared.  [This course was previously ECO 211.]   (Same as RODP ECON 2010)

PREREQUISITES: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Writing and Reading Learning Support Competencies and completion of MATH 1005, MATH 1010, or MATH 1530.
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
