COMM 273* - Live Sound Recording and Reinforcement

Course provides instruction in live sound recording and reinforcement including further development of audio principles introduced in COMM 270* and COMM 271* as applied to live sound. Includes instruction on load-in, setup, test, trouble-shoot, operate, tear-down, and load-out of state-of-the-art Live Sound Reinforcement system. Applied training by supporting the Visual and Performing Arts, the Music, Theatre, and Audio Visual departments.

PREREQUISITES: COMM 271* or permission of instructor.
Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
