PTA 110* - Physical Science for the PTA A study of the fundamentals of the physical sciences as applied to the practice of the PTA. Topics covered include: mechanics, electricity, heat exchange and transfer, energy, and motion.
PREREQUISITES: Completion of MATH 1130 or MATH 1710 is required before taking PTA 110. Instructor may grant permission with college math experience.
Hours: Fifteen lecture and thirty lab hours per semester. Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
