PHYS 1030♦ - Introductory Physics An introductory study of selected topics in physics including mechanics of linear and curvilinear motion, energy gravitation, vibrations and waves, sound electricity, magnetism and some atomic and nuclear physics. Note the preceding introductory discussion concerning course credits. (Same as RODP PHYS 1030)
PREREQUISITES: An acceptable placement score or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in reading and writing and an acceptable placement score or completion of MATH 1005 with a grade of “C” or better. Hours: Three lecture, two laboratory hours per week. General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements. Credits: (4)
