OPH 152* - Ophthalmic Procedures III This course introduces the students to the fundamentals of surgical assisting, microbial control procedures, and safe handling of equipment and supplies. Contact lens fitting and patient instruction techniques will also be covered.
COREQUISITES: OPH 130C*, OPH 153*. Hours: Thirty lecture and 30 lab hours per semester. Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
