MATH 1410♦ - Number Concepts for Elementary Education A course required exclusively of students majoring in elementary education. Topics include sequences, sets, relations and functions; base-ten arithmetic, numeration systems and whole numbers; bases other than ten; operations with the integers; equations and inequalities; theory of numbers; operations with decimals and rational numbers. (Same as RODP MATH 1410)
PREREQUISITES: An acceptable placement score, or a grade of C or better in MATH 1005 (or MATH 1000 or DSPM 0850) or MATH 1130.
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements. Credits: (3)
