HIT 240* - Statistics A study of health care data abstract systems; computation and display of statistical data for administrative use, health care planning and research; statistical terminology; uniform discharge data systems; birth and death registration, rules and regulations; and compilation of standard hospital statistics.
PREREQUISITES: HIT 125* Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
