HIST 220 - African-American History This course will examine the history of Africans and their descendants in the United States from the end of the Civil War to the present, investigating topics from emancipation to the ongoing struggle for Civil Rights. Connections between this history and the issues and concerns facing all Americans in the present will be explored. The course may be used as a Social Science elective. (Same as RODP HIST 220)
PREREQUISITES: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing. Credits: (3)
