BIOL 2230 - Microbiology An introductory course in microbiology which includes morphology, bacterial metabolism, cultivation, isolation, genetics, physiology, pathogenesis, immunity, control of microorganisms. Bacteriological and aseptic techniques are emphasized in the laboratory.
PREREQUISITES: Successful completion of BIOL 1110 or BIOL 2010 with a grade of “C” or better. Hours: Three lecture, three laboratory hours per week. Credits: (4)
