MATH 1410♦ - Structure of Mathematical Systems I

A course required exclusively of students majoring in elementary education.  Topics include sequences, sets, relations and functions; base-ten arithmetic, numeration systems and whole numbers; bases other than ten; operations with the integers; equations and inequalities; theory of numbers; operations with decimals and rational numbers.  

PREREQUISITES: An acceptable placement score, DSPM 0850 or MATH 1000.

 
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
