MATH 1910 - ^Calculus I


This course includes a study of limits, continuity, derivatives of algebraic, trigonometric, exponential, and logarithmic functions, applications of differentiation, definite and indefinite integrals, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, and introduction to basic applications and techniques of integration (including substitution). Credit toward graduation cannot be received for both courses in the following pair: MATH 1830/1910. (Equivalent to TN eCampus MATH 1910)

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring, Summer
Prerequisites: Either high school precalculus (with trigonometry) with a minimum ACT MATH subscore of 25, or completion of MATH 1720  or MATH 1730  with a minimum grade of C.
Contact Hours: 60 lecture hours per semester
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
