OPHT 2353 - *Ophthalmic Procedures IVThis course introduces the student to the principles and techniques of visual field measurement, causes of visual field loss, basic external ophthalmic exam and the documentation of all testing and exam results. Scribing and ophthalmic coding and billing will also be covered in this course. Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Summer Corequisites: OPHT 2352 , OPHT 2230 Contact Hours: 30 lecture hours, 30 lab hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
