VET 110 - *Applied Veterinary Anatomy and PhysiologyThis course parallels a vertebrate zoology course focusing on aspects of anatomy and physiology that have clinical relevance for animal caregivers, animal lab researchers and veterinary practice. Companion, agricultural (large) and exotic species will be covered with reference to human physiology where applicable. Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Spring Prerequisites: Formal admission to the Veterinary Technician Program Corequisites: VET 110L Laboratory Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours, 30 lab hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
