DAST 1590 - *Clinical Practicum IIA continuation of Clinical Practicum I. A supervised clinical experience in general dentistry to master basic dental assisting skills. Emphasis is on the role of the dental assistant in operative dentistry and patient care. Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Summer Prerequisites: DAST 1570 Contact Hours: 300 clinical hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution.
