EMPR 2235 - *Non-Fiction Film and Video ProductionThis advanced course covers non-fiction production including documentaries, promotional videos, corporate and educational videos, commercials, PSAs, and video journalism. Students will research and develop topics, create AV scripts, develop interview questions, transcribe interviews and create paper edits, and work in teams to shoot and edit short non-fiction films and videos. (This course was previously COMM 235.) Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall Prerequisites: EMPR 1212, EMPR 1222 Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester Vocational/Career Program Designation: *Designated primarily for vocational/career programs This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
