PSYC 244 - Alcohol and Drug Abuse


This course is an overview of drug abuse and use including an examination of current problems with alcohol and illicit drugs. This course is a study of the history of drug abuse and the psychological and sociological factors involved.   [This course was previously PSY 244.]

Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0810  and READ 0810  as determined by placement.
