ART 1035 - ^Introduction to Art


This is a general education course designed to meet the humanities/fine arts requirement. This course provides an introduction to the visual language, the nature of creativity, and the functions and forms of art in our own culture and in selected other cultures in human history. This is a lecture course based on slide presentation and discussion.  (Same as TN eCampus ART 1035)

Semester Availability: (Subject to Change) Fall, Spring, Summer
Prerequisites: Acceptable placement scores or completion of all Learning Support Competencies in Reading and Writing or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 0810  and READ 0810  as determined by placement.
Contact Hours: 45 lecture hours per semester
General Education: Course can be used to meet Minimum General Education Core requirements.
