MECH 2150 - *Electrical Control Systems


This course is a study of the creation and modification of industrial electrical control prints using CAD software with emphasis on proper print layout, component selection, and wire types. Proper wiring technique for both control panels and field wiring will also be covered.

Semester Availabilty: (Subject to Change) Fall
Prerequisites: MECH 1100  and ENGR 101  
Corequisites: MECH 2150L

Contact Hours: 3 lecture hours per week
Laboratory Hours: 2 laboratory hours per week

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
