UST 291 - *OB/GYN Scanning II This course is designed to give the student detailed instruction in the role of Sonography in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Fetal development, physiology and anatomy will be discussed at length. In addition, all major fetal anomalies and maternal complications directly related to the second and third trimesters of pregnancy will be covered in detail. The sonographic imaging of the normal fetus and the fetus with anomalies will also be discussed.

Prerequisites: UST 200 , UST 211C , UST 230 , UST 280 and UST 290 Corequisites: UST 212C , UST 231 , UST 242 , UST 255 , UST 281

This course may be accepted as transfer credit by some colleges and universities, but that decision is made by the receiving institution. This course is collegiate level work, but it has been developed with a purpose other than being a university parallel course.
